This painting is absolutely stunning! I signed up here just to comment on this. Beautiful use of colors and you managed to capture the mood so well. Your use of slightly rougher brush strokes for the speedpainting really adds a dynamic to the scene and I wouldn't want to see a slowpainting instead. It's perfect.

Awesome! Just curious about your process -- how long does 'speed painting' take exactly? And, did you print out a still image, or put the tv on pause? (I can't think of many other ways to do this traditionally, and don't get me wrong -- I'm impressed.)
